What about: Diane von Furstenberg

Diane Simone Michelle von Furstenberg, born Halfin (*December 31, 1946 born in Brussels) is a belgian-american fashion icon and designer. Diane grew up in Belgium with her romanian-born father and her greek-born mother.  When she studied in Geneva she first met her husband Egon von Furstenberg, with hom she soon moved to New York. They got two children, Alexandre and Tatiana. After the birth of Tatiana Diane and Egon divorced. Than Furstenberg started to design knitted dresses and 1973 she released the wrap dress, which you can sea today at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. 1991 she started her own Home-Shipping-buisness but after she took a break as designer and worked in her own puplishing house in Paris, but she returned to the fashion world in 1997 and moved back to New York. Until now she is designing her own clothes under the label "Diane von Furstenberg", which are mainly selled in posh boutiques and noble department stores like Bergdorf Goodman or Saks Fifth Avenue. 2001 she married Barry Diller and a year later she turned to an american citizen with whom she lievs mainly in New York, Paris, Los Angeles and Connecticut.
